Summer 2023 in Creta had to be an analog summer. One camera, one lens, seven rolls of black and white film, a pretty big island.
Shot on Ilford HP5+, with the Leica M4 and the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 35mm/f2.5.
There is a kind of freedom when photographing with this combination. I mainly shot at f/11-f/16, using hyperfocal focusing. The Leica’s viewfinder is a big plus when composing your frame, and light-metering with your mind is quite easy when have copious amounts of Greek sunlight at your disposal.
