It is true: Japan is the heaven of film photographers.

Ten days in Japan. Nine black and white film rolls. A magnificent new acquisition, the Contax Carl Zeiss G 21mm/f2.8.

Itinerary: Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Arashiyama, scores of shrines, Lake Kawaguchi, Tokyo - dozen of places in Tokyo.

All images shot with two cameras: Leica M7 with the Voigtlander 28mm/2.8 & the Summicron 35mm/f2, as well as the Contax G2 with the Carl Zeiss G 21mm/F2.8 lens.

Film stock is Kentmere Pan 400, pushed to 800. Developed in HC-110, scanned with the Noritsu HS-1800.
